Hello, President Barack Hussein Obama.
What a historic day.
Not only is Ex-President Bush out of office FOREVER, but we have a democrat in office for at least the next 4 years. I hope he brings what he promised and I hope he can get this country turned around for the better. It will take longer than 4 years so hopefully, if he does a good job, he will get re-elected for another term.
I am just very happy that today has come. It really brings a tear to my eye that for one memorable day, we all turned our heads to the color of someones skin and to the middle name that had every hillbilly in the country convinced he was a terrorist, and elected someone for who he is as a person.. and not for "what" he is. This is America and I am proud to live in this country.
I got to leave class today to watch the Inauguration. I still have class at 2, but I am just happy that I get to see the beginning. We have it recording so I can watch it tonight when David gets off.

I agree. I have the whole thing DVR'd. I've been in Chicago and Detroit this week and have seen a lot of stuff.
When Clinton left office we had a BUDGET SURPLUS. Many say this is only because Clinton did nothing and only got the results from the Reagan years. This is (*&^%*&^%.
We all will be fine, just need time for Obama time to kick in.
I agree also! It was a very emotional inauguration and I'm so glad I got to see it. Not since Kennedy has this country had so much hope in a President. May God be with him!!
